Rapunzel Dance Camp in St. Charles
Join Princess Rapunzel and learn to dance like a princess! The dance camp session is one hour long and filled with fun activities for the little dancing princesses. She will lead the princesses starting with a fun little story about dancing princesses. She then will guide them thru dance stretches, royal poses, princess and a princess dance lesson. There will also be time for photos and a mini tea party at the end before each little princess receives a hug from Rapunzel before they leave for their kingdoms. The dance camp will held at the St. Charles Park District located at 8 north avenue, St. Charles, IL. Back in 1998 the Disney movie featuring Princess Mulan really broke out of the Disney Princess Model in so many different aspects. First, she is Asian which was a big diversion from the other Disney Princesses. Her story and character traits are much different that those princesses that came before her. Her character and story is based on the Chinese legion of Hua Mulan. Her story briefly is about tacking place during the Han Dynasty, where Fa Mulan, daughter of older warrior Fa Zhou, impersonates a man to take her father's place during a general recruitment of one man from every family to join the Chinese army too counter a Hun invasion. This movie main Princess Character Mulan is indeed not friendless as The "Great Stone Dragon" arises to protect Mulan, however the statue of Great Stone Dragon failed to come to life, and that Mushu, a small dragon, is the one sent to protect Mulan. This is the start of a great addition of friendships along the way including Mulan training at camp and ultimately along with her friends saves the emperor and does away with the villain Shan Yu. This has been a very busy year and hard to believe that is more than half over. We are busier that ever and have up to 30 different events at times with our characters for your family to enjoy.
